Derek's Town and Country

Pretty standard northwoods style bar and restaurant with bar and food service in one big area. Being a bit older, the place was a bit loud, and that accounts for the somewhat lower overall rating. Pizza was surprisingly good (NOT a reheated frozen job).

One of the best burgers I've ever had!!! This unassuming place is a rare gem.

The place just opened up today and had a great experience. The burger was really good and so was the jalapeno poppers. I don't know how the server did it but she did a great job keeping up with everyone in the bar. Look forward to seeing what specials they will have in the future.

Nice little bar. Great burger and beer. I like beer. Had the fish dinner to go another time and i recommend. Very good fish fry. Bar remodeled since the last time i was there. Great job! Doesn’t smell like cigarette smoke anymore!!

Food here is the bomb. Derek is an excellent cook and his family couldn’t be any nicer. Super fast service and high quality food.

Derek has a very big heart! He was there for our families friends and all volunteers. A year ago today we had two young people go missing in the woods. The following day when search efforts resumed Derek opened his doors and served everyone and went above and beyond! Unfortunately both young people lost their lives due to the weather. Derek will always be remembered for his generosity and big heart . Thank you so much. Sincerely Bruce Graham the grandfather of Aiden.

Great food, cold beer, good service. Stop by for happy hour. Bundy burger is delicious, best one around.

Burgers and deep fried appetizers. Good flavors, crispy apps. Friendly service. Good selection of beverages. For a country bar grill it's worth the stop. The current owners have taken down some of the offensive posters.
